The Fright factory this year, to me, was kind of disappointing. Most of the scenes were repeated, and the whole thing, to me, is waaaaay too short. I would've expected more from these people. I went last year and it was sooo fun!!! But this year, I didn't really feel it. Sorry guys.
Eh, this is a good haunt if you want a laugh, or maybe a few jumps. But to get really scared, I wouldn't recommend it.

When going through there complex I was thrilled to see what they had up there sleves this year. Granted some haunted house are smaller and they can change there scenes every year. This haunted house does it to portions of there haunted houses. With this being a thursday night they only had two haunted house open. I knew this before going there, and I was really just going to see there new haunted house. But at seven o clock I first went into Adrenaline, even though they didn't change there haunted house. There scare were F***en Awesome. There actors also stepped up there game and set a high level for scaring. Well when I Finished there first haunted house, I went to there brand new haunted( formally Blood City) now know as Insanity, most people that don't go through this haunted won't believe, but that one word summarize this whole haunt, from the plant hallway, to baby boy, to there facade. Honestly there is a reason why this haunted is know as one of the best. Even though you might pay a little bit more to go through the whole complex, If you are looking for a night of fun and scare, I highly suggest Burial Chamber Complex

Very good! Didn't know the building existed and then how big it was. The wait wasn't all that bad, they had a ghoul out there and sometimes two at once. Had a very neat prop outside as well, they had a skull in a glass container that gave information and had jokes. Very good music outside, not your traditional haunted house music in the line.
To start with, this building is literally next to the state prison in Prairie du Chien. It is so close that you can see the razor wire on the fence and the security van circle the complex. It made the wait in line even scary.
This haunt had lots of loud noises-from screaches to air horns to an air cannon. The layout seemed big. They had a lot of animated props and each one made me jump. One in particular was a barrel that a figure popped out with a light and air horn. They had a short bus in this place! Along with a car. The bus was freaky. The body bag room really got me, there was a strobe light and it hit the face just right, to top it off they had a live actor in the room in a corner as well. The cop car with pig was interesting, well themed to have that at the end.

On a mild Halloween Night, I began my adventure to the Dark Side. Accompanied by some buddies, I drove to rural Ixonia( following mapquest directions) and was already creeped out being in the middle of nowhere. I purchased my ticket from one of the very helpful staff and we waited our turn. After 15-20 minutes we were guided by one of the story telling undead to the haunted mine. Inside were scares at every turn. Things slamming down, jumping out and squeezing us in, we didnt know which way the next scare was coming from. After we made it through we waited at a bonfire and then were loaded onto the hayride. The wagon was eerie in appearance and as the ride began I was already on edge. We entered the forest where my fellow passangers and I were scared from all angles by actors and props alike. We were unloaded by a second fire and broken into groups by one of the most entertaining ghouls i have ever met. We walked through the forest guided by a rope light and the sounds of screams to guide us. Extremely scared my friends and I entered the corn maze and were scared from start to finish.
This is one of the best haunts I have been to. The actors are from the " jump-out-from-nowhere-and-shout" school of scaring, making each new area exciting as well as terrifying. I was most impressed with the attention to detail in the mine and the walking woods portion. I wanted to stop and look at each area but was kept moving by the energetic cast. I also enjoyed the stories told to us by the guide on the way into the mine. I will most definantly recommend this haunt to all my friends and family.

Bottom line best Haunted house i ever went to! I worked for Dead by Dawn in the past but u seemed to scare the crap out of me and my wife (who pissed her pants)LOL!!! Scary...fun...breathless
Even the wait is fun, hanging by a bonfire telling scary stories. Then the 45 minutes of uncertainty, live and annimated characters. Well designed scenes and just a Halloween atmosphere I give it 2 thumbs up! Must See
Well worth the money, activities to do outside bonfire and environment really set the tone for scare and fear. Plus 45 minutes for a haunt can't be found anywhere else. I highly recommend it as a MUST SEE!

When i first looked up this place on here i was skeptical. I saw that most things people had to say about this place were bad. However i figured that the only people writing the reviews were the ones who were displeased. And boy was I right. DONT LISTEN TO THEM!!! Yes $18 seems like alot but it took almost 45 minutes to get through! It was a very good bang for your buck. I have been to other haunted houses and payed around $12 and they only lasted like 20 minutes. The longevity of this field was great. This place was a ton of fun and we are coming back every year from now on! Also, we followed the directions from the website and found it very easily.
First we bought tickets and they showed us what our numbers are. So we wandered around the store for a while, which is really cool, lots of fun stuff in there. Then we got some food. The burgers and brats were amazing! plus it was a fund raiser so that was cool. So then we went and sat by the bonfire and listened to the creepy stories which were really creative and spooky. There were tons of animals there and most of them are animals that u never get to see. They were really neat. After about an hour and a half our numbers were called on the led boards. So we went in the line and waited for about another 15 minutes before we got to enter. the wait wasnt bad and there was really cool stuff to keep you busy. It took us around 45 minutes to walk through the cornfield which was awesome. The actors were spaced out nicely and they were really good. They interacted with our group and wouldnt leave us alone. They were really scary. Especially for the two girls in our group. The actors were just a lot of fun. Overall this place wasnt the absolute scariest haunt but it we all had a really good time. It was great.

It was very cold and we were able to wait inside, once inside we were greeted by monsters which got the adrenaline going.
Actually there were a few monsters outside too.
The sets were well constructed and realistic
the actors were superb, most of them never broke character especially the Phantom and Librarian (very cool characters).
The main street was way cool as was the rainforest room very creative.
We went through with a group of 4 and never ran into another group which was great as we never knew what was coming or when a monster would pop out at us.Only complaint we did catch a couple monsters out of character in the tourture chamber and after the clown jumped off the rope and realized he didn't scare us he quickly gave up.Kudos to the set designers, very creative.
Great scare for the most part
word of warning- don't mess with that librarian, she meant business !!

When I went, I had a lot of fun. We were supposed to go with a big group but it worked out well with just two because you can only go in with a group of 2 or 3 people. The group ahead of us were scared easily so we kind of laughed as we heard some of the people in the house just say "boo" and the screams would start :) For a local Haunted House, I was really impressed! It was pretty intricate and well thought through with over 20 volunteers dressed up and hiding inside the haunted house to help scare you! The end was the best though if you don't know what's coming! The people ahead of us didn't expect it and were definitely scared!
Overall, most of the rooms are pitch black which and there are things hanging everywhere to disorient you which makes the experience more interesting. I'm not someone that gets scared easily but I was still really impressed by this Haunted House. Maybe not worth $8, but if you have the money and want to experience a haunted house, it's one to consider!

GREAT haunted house! It is definitely a good one to go to if you are older. :) The walking through the forest at night really helps with the scare factor. I would not recommend anyone going this year if you have a fear of clowns!
It was a GREAT time.
My biggest complaint--the LONG LONG line. We got there at 9pm and didn't leave until 11:15 and it would have been even later if we would have stayed in the line. ;)
I recommend getting there right at 8pm to cut down on the wait. The waiting was TOO long!

After purchasing your tickets, you can wait in the gymnasium with plenty of snacks and soda available. The wait is anywhere from 1 to 2 1/2 hours. The event provided minimal entertainment during the wait (old b&w movies and really bad music). It really couldn't hurt to dim the lights in the gym.
The house has some really great sets and some awesome effects. I couldn't believe how good some of the setups were. The pace of the house is really well controlled. Instead of walking through the house wondering if you are going too fast or too slow, they take that out of the equation entirely. There were a few times (being in the lead position) of running into walls or doors that were locked and not knowing if and where to proceed.
There were some chances for some really great scares. There were many creepy moments as well as some "what's going to happen next?" moments.
Unfortunately, poor acting and voice-over lip syncing were the complete downfall for this house. Maybe it was because it was getting late, but some of the "actors" were terrible. It felt like they gave up their characters long before we bought our tickets.
Overall, I loved the house setup and the scenery. Was really disappointed with the actors performances.

This house was quite interesting. It definitely had some good actors, who really gave a great effort. The outside wait wasn't the worst on the weekend that I went. Unfortunately, I imagine on these colder days, its definitely going to be tough. Because the house is located downtown, there really isn't much that can be done about this.
At first our group was a little upset about the wait time, we later realized that it paid off. We never once ran into another group.
The layout was great. You went through three levels. You could see that a lot of time and effort went into creating their characters and scenes. There is a very creepy Alice in Wonderland on acid feel to it. I would say that there aren't a whole lot of "pop scares" just more creep you out moments.
Long wait time outdoors with minimum shelter are one of the biggest downfalls for this house. Great actors, interesting scenes and characters really help the creepy effect the house is going for.

We had a great time on the trail. We had a group of 6 (3 couples). Just a heads up for anyone considering this "haunt", they only allow groups of 4 (no exceptions!) thru at a time. So keep that in mind if you have a group larger than 4. We had a difficult time deciding how to separate our group of 6, but we wound up breaking down in to 2 groups of 3 (all girls went together and all the guys went together). The wait in line wasn't very long, maybe 15-20 minutes. This attraction does offer tickets at $8 for the trail or $10 for the trail and the Panic Bus. Don't waste your money on the Panic Bus. Take that $2 and by yourself some hot chocolate instead to keep you warm. The walk thru the trail took us about 15 minutes. By the time we reached the end, our checks hurt from laughing at ourselves and each other other, our voices were hoarse from screaming and we are pretty sure we walked out with heart conditions we didn't have when we first started the trail. For being a small, locally put on haunt, they did an excellent job. Would recommend!
Well worth the trip. Very remote location, and the people working the trail interacted with you constantly. Much fun!

it was a busy night when we got there. there were actors all around. the one at the road got my friend really good. she went running ahead of us. once we paid for our wristbands we were walked down to the waiting area with a group of other people that were waiting as well. once in the waiting area there was a long line but it was very entertaining. there would be actors walking through the line just scaring people left and right. i remember this one girls was getting chased around the waiting area. it was really funny up until someone snocked up on me and got me good. my friends didnt even tell me that someone was behind me until i turned. once it was our turn we were taken out by this one guy that didnt even need to have a mask on. he was that scary. we went through this one barn and it was insane. there was fog coming all around us and that made it even more scary because you couldnt tell if there was anyone around you other then your group. there was a vortex and i almost fell because i thought i was spinning instead. it was fun. towards the end there was an other buliding and we thought we had to go through it until someone came aout and scared us so much that my friend peed on herself. then (s)he chased us down through the corn. one the way out we went through the clown area. i am not one that likes clowns too much. so needlesstosay , it wasnt my faveorite part.
i really like this cornfield and recommend this to everyone that wants to have a good time and get scared at the same time. they put a good effort into this place and it is better then last year.

This was the 7th Haunted Attraction we have been to this season. It was the 3rd that had a real chainsaw & the first with other types of saws and tools for scare effects. The setting in an old warehouse with rickety stairs and rusty windows sets the tone well. There was an indoor somewhat heated line that went fairly quickly.
Has a good mix of decorative scenes with a couple black mazes, one very skinny with texture on the walls & a bit of de ja vu. Had a few unique scenes in it like the cobweb room. The scenes seemed to be decorated with a lot of detail.
Most rooms seemed to have a scare in them. Even some of the hallways had scares. Lots of loud noises that scare you in your scene and build anticipation as you hear it in some of the other scenes. Workers were not afraid to get in your face. The voice over the microphone was scary and a bit funny, a unique idea.
This is a good scare for those looking for that. It was a bit cheaper than a few others we have been too, but the effects were the same.

We got there before the crowd so we were in the first group to go through. We purchased all 3 attractions. I like how they continue you through to the next haunted house when you buy more than one house instead of making you wait in the long line again.
The First 2 haunted houses are very similar. The rooms are pristine and decorated in such a manor you feel like you are in the setting. They do a great job of moving you through the scene so you experience the entire room. The actors keep in character and try to get everyone in the group, not just the screamers. There were some similar sets from last year, but they are good sets. I love the exit, it makes a non claustrophobic person, claustrophobic!
The 3rd house is more for effect than scare. The 3-D paint inside is awesome to say the least! The actors are quick to respond to the friendly banter I made and we had a fun dialogue going on. Only suggestion in the last house was get a real chain saw or none at all. The "toy" chainsaw they had was really lame.
This was Haunted House 3-4-5 for us this season. It took us 30 minutes to go through all 3.
All 3 are obviously professional Haunted Attractions put together very well. If you are interested in scare only, go to the first 2 if you also care about effects splurge for the 3rd.

It was fairly busy when we got there, but there was still plenty of free parking in the lots out front of the house and we only had to wait about 20 minutes before our numbers were called. They only took cash, which was a slight inconvenience. The waiting area was mostly enclosed and comfortable to wait in. A few creatures roamed around trying to spook people, most gave up too easily. Also, there were a lot of large groups of teenagers milling around. Security did a good job keeping order though.
My group was a group of 8 and too big for the size of the house IMO. The actors and spooks were only set-up to scare the first 1-2 people in the line, leaving the rest to not even see what happened, much less be scared. They tried switching up the lead and order a few times - kudos for that! - but it didn't work very well and we were left in almost the same order throughout. Too many dark corners were left unused for surprise scares.
**Don't read this if you want the rooms to be a surprise**
The actors feasting around the table in the dining room were exceptionally good and the room was fantastically done. The swamp room was also really creepy and the actors did actually wait until the entire group was in and half way through before letting their scare loose (thus scaring everyone). The attic doll room was really really creepy, but lacking in a good scare/startle. The very end of it is also perfect. Too few haunted houses take advantage of the those letting down their guards as they leave.
This was a decent haunted house overall. But, I scare easily and I found myself not even the least bit scared multiple times throughout the house. On the up side, because I wasn't so scared, I was able to look around at the scenes and enjoy the work that went into them. However, I don't know that I'll try this house again in the future.

This one did it for me!!! I was scared, very scared.
Yes, I did show up to this pretty late, but it was worth it and I still got in. (I'm not sure when they stop selling tickets.)
When I was walking up I looked at the line and thought that this was going to take too long, but it was not bad at all. After all, you do go with friends and joke around while you wait. Do dress warm though, I did and the cold didn't even bother me. That made the time fly by because you’re not standing there thinking about how your freezing your butt off and wishing that the line would move faster because you’re the dumb ass that didn’t wear a coat and gloves in the first place. (I did see some people dressed like they were going to the bars and didn’t have anything warm on. Come on, really?)
I do remember when I went to this a few years ago that there were more scary characters walking around outside to scare you while you wait in line. I also liked when they would chase you for a little bit when you walked back to your car. On the day that I went, they had only one character and it was a clown. I have Coulrophobia (fear of clowns) and my friends helped me so that I would not accidentally see the clown. However, I made friends with security and John (Hi John) while I was in line and they asked me to take a picture, I said yes, not knowing that they wanted me to take it with the clown. I was a tad scared, because they pulled me out of line away from my friends and I was alone with this clown. (Okay, so I was mortified.) I was embarrassed and felt bad that these guys were trying to take a picture and here I am balling my eyes out uncontrollably because of their clown. (Sorry guys)
Needless to say, the actual haunt was great. The characters inside popped out at you at the best times and actually were able to make you jump. Their costumes were great and the lighting helped create an eerie feel. I was told that the clown room was pretty creepy. Of course I didn’t look, my friend just about leaped at me to grab my head in order to cover my eyes so I would see, which I didn’t. I would’ve passed out from fear though, I was told there were three clowns that walked around and the painting on the walls was pretty scary too.
Great job everyone at Mars Haunted House! Props to you, John, thank you for all that you did for me and my friends. Sorry again for crying when you wanted to take that picture. I’ll see you all next year!

I liked it a lot. It had great things that lead to the next room and you weren't sure what to expect. My favorite was probably the Market place. It was so awesome. The Butcher and the Cart Pusher were totatlly cool. The price and time it took to go through was totally worth it. only problem was getting there. We had the directions, but after getting on the street, had no idea where to go. More signs would be great especially for people like my group who came from out of town.

This was my first time expierencing this haunted house and it was very good. I can't believe the transitions between each room. It gave the victims enough time to gather their thoughts so the pychological factor was there as well. I loved riding in the kart. We did run into a couple the group in front of us and a group caught up to us from behind. The actors saw that happening and they took care of the problem very well. My only main problem was finding the place to begin with. Even though its on one of Sheboygan's main drags the signs should be more visible. Other than that i had a great time.
i would definally recommend this haunted attraction to my friends and random strangers. I had fun and i hope you do too.

We had a group of 5 people go to Terror on the Fox. After finding the correct directions, the haunt was fairly easy to find. The line appeared to be long and it was cold outside, but don't be fooled; the line moved quickly. We purchased the combo tickets, which were only $20 per person after the online coupon. $20 for 3 haunts is a good deal!
The haunt starts off with a "haunted" train ride. It wasn't very scary, but it was definitely worth the ride!
The first haunt was "Torment, a New Fear Within." It took maybe 7 minutes to walk through. There didn't seem to be a consistent theme, but some of the actors made the haunt their own. I really liked the chain link walk ways, it was much better than just a dark hallway! This haunt set the tone, but it left me wanting something more.
Next, we had to wait in a long line for the main attraction. The music got us pumped, but waiting in a standing line for over an hour was a little harsh. There were scenes set up in the woods, but I was really hoping for some live actors.
Once the main attraction came into view we were so excited!!! The stage was phenomenal! (You will have to go and see for more details...) Once inside the house I was more than impressed with the decorations. Props to the actors in the bedroom...you came out from the most unlikely of places. I loved the forest...I never saw that coming!! We loved taking a trip through hell!!! The rooms were creative, but they didn't seem to flow. The bartenders were a little inattentive, but overall I was impressed.
The final haunt was the "3rd Dimension of Fear." We needed to put on some corny 3D glasses, which didn't stay on, but that's besides the point. The decorations were again amazing. This house seemed more like a fun house, and the glow paint was tons of fun. My favorite would be the dot room. BEWARE!
This haunt was tons of fun! I would recommend buying the $14 ($13 with the online coupon!) main attraction ticket (which still includes the train ride). The decorations at this haunt were phenomenal, but these weren't the most motivated actors I've seen this year. GOOD JOB TERROR ON THE FOX!!!

This was definitely a great experience. I drove from Milwaukee to see what all the hype was about. I met with some friends, and we pretty much just hung out in the parking lot by the cars and sent a "scout" every 15-30 minutes to go check on the status of the number calling for the line.
When it finally came time for us to mosey into the waiting area, I was really getting into the choice of music. This definitely gave you an adrenaline booster just before heading in.
If I had a choice, I would have preferred a smaller group, so all the people had a fair shot at being scared. I worked for a haunted attraction for 6 years, so I was, of course, dead last. I enjoyed a lot of the scenes, and the music throughout. In a group of 8 or 10, usually the scare is done by the time the last 2-4 people come into the scene
I agree with some of the other reviews, stating that you didn't sense any of the other scares ahead of you, but there was one. Even with the sense of not knowing what's coming, each scene was doomed to a single scare (actor or animatronics). There seemed to be a few too many "dead zones" (pardon the pun). I'm guessing they were attempting to build suspense, or maybe they ran out of room in the floor plan, but I got a little bored. One effect or actor per scene really isn't going to cut it
Although I've worked for another haunt, this was all new to me. I did still have a good time, but I have seen better this season. Could use more pinball scares to keep you guessing where the scare is coming from. I enjoyed the number system, with the ability to just hang out until the sequence called.

Interactive actors made this well worth the admission fee. The effects were great, with black light rooms, 3D paint, and other unique props. The actors kept us on our toes, but found a way to creep up on us anyway. It was fun, with frights from beginning to end, I would recommend it to my friends.
Although the line was long, a movie and actors kept us entertained. The tour took us through many different rooms, providing a scary situation for anybody. 3D paint is an effect I've never seen in a terror trail before.

Very scary and funny at the same time. The rooms are well designed and have a mix of live actors and automatic "pop ups" that scared the living daylights out of me!
Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good scare!!!
I attended this with 3 of my friends and the wait wasn't too long considering how many people were in line to get in. This was a very good haunted house overall.

There was a family behind us in line with about 7 kids, some looked as young as 4 yrs old..there were loud, kept hitting into us in line and trying to push forward, wehn we finally got to get ready to go into the haunted house, I asked the guy to please make sure we are as far away as possible, he said he couldn't do that, so wewere all ready to go in and the Family started complaining that they charged himtoo much so the guy took everyone out of line and then let me and my friend go through without them.
the haunt was just OK for me this year...there was only a clown outside while waiting and he wasn't scary at all, last few times I have went there were zombies outside, chasing you to your car and messing with you while you wait in line. Wehn we finally wnet through, i was really disappointed, I drive from Genoa City, WI to Mitchell ST in Milwaukee (about a 45 minuted ride) - I don't think I will be back again...also when we were walking through, it smelled like sewer. Most of the charaters were good, but it went by so quick, I forgot about most of it....

It started off where i went in line to get my tickets. As i approached the ticket line i was like "There is no way im waiting in this line". I got convinced to buy my ticket. I then went into a heated waiting room with consessions. In the waiting room i saw a weird guy on stilts. He was fun and gave everyone some excitment. After waiting for about 1 hour i got called into a cemetary. In there we lined up and got ready to go into the house. As we were lining up we got told jokes and had fun. Then the FUN BEGAN!!! The whole house was excellent but there were certain rooms in particular. The room that made me PISS MY PANTS was the torture chamber. Then my next favorite part of the house was that rat. He was amazing. The statue room was good along with the hellevator before that. THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS EXCELLENT. It was definatly worth 10 dollars..
I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to piss themselves....

First timer on this one... I was reallly excited for this haunt.. but in the end was dissapointed... Throught the "haunted" forest you couldnt see a damn thing... we kept running into trees! and no actors anywhere in sight to scare us.. but when we pulled out a cellphone to see where the hell we were.. then one finally popped out to yell at us! wait time was not bad at all!! bonfire was nice and music/video was cool. Inside the hoouse.. welll.. running into poles is always fun.. not to mention actors standing around talking.. But they actually helped us when we couldnt see where we were supposed to go.. the "toliet room" now that was just discusting!!!!! And my question is.. what if your not the skinniest person in the world?? how are u supposed to fit through all those tiny areas... and there is NO DISCLAIMER about crawling around... I usually am very scared at haunted houses but this one was a downer... it had its scary parts but the unscary ones overwhelmed the rest...

This house is by far the best haunted attraction in the greater milwaukee area. I've never been more freaked out in my life. Evil clowns and messed up Doctors torturing you it dosen't get much worse. The actors in this place are amazing. The best word that describes this house is....unique, it's unlike anything you'll ever see.

After hearing all the hype on this place, all I can say is it was a let down...from an adult point of view. The trail was a nice walk but the actors were kinda listless, to the point of falling in front of you. I think a few might have gotten stepped on since it's too dark to even see your footing. We were impressed with the group system. No lines and people sitting around a huge bonfire. The techo music needed to go but then again it's aimed twords the younger crowd. after about 1/2 hour we made it in. I liked the entrance area and the first room but after that my expectations dropped. the actors were dressed in street clothes and rather boring. the scare factor was not there mixed with the crawling made it seem more like a fun house than a haunted house. Climbing through a port-a-potty, the crawling and the very tight hallways/stairwells turned me off completely.
I'd recommend they remove the crawling and the 1 foot hallways. As for a fun house, this is great but as a haunted house, they missed the mark.

This was my first visit to the burial chamber and they did a excellent job. I liked the fact that there wasn't crawling or 1 foot wide hallways. We went through all three haunts with our VIP pass. Considering there were probably 1000-1500 people waiting to get in between the three haunts, we found this to be a very wise choice. They seem to be a little understaffed with actors but did a very good job none the less.
Some of the rooms inside were done very well but the three that stick out were the 'baby', the 'barber' and the puppet show. Now I'm not going to go into detail which haunt they are in or what rooms they are but I figure the Burial Chamber people will know which ones I'm talking about and you will too once you go through.
I manged to jump a few times and that is a task in itself since I still build/work at another haunt. Well worth the time to check out!

This was a very fun and scary haunted cornfield. The characters were very creepy and were in the perfect spots to scare people. Just when you think you can take a breath and relax a little, BAM! someone is there to scare the crap out of you again. You definately know that a place is scary when someone from the group before you is crying at the end because they were so scared. I especially liked the extra rooms that they had placed throughout the field, that always makes it more freaky. I also thought the jeepers creepers truck was very cool. Just an idea that I had is that they should try and incorporate more of the movie in the field. Like having someone dress up like the jeepers creepers guy and put him on a wood post like a scarcrow (like in the beginning of jeepers creepers 2). I also greatly appreciated that they spaced everyone out so well. It always seems to ruin the fun when you either catch up to the people in front of you, or the people behind you catch up to you. That did not happen in this cornfield, which I was very happy about. By the way, the guy at the entrace was awesome!
I recommend Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield to anyone looking to get scared and have a lot of fun! This was one of the best haunted cornfields I have ever been to! I am definately going back next year!

it was a pretty good house for the most part. i went with my cousin and boyfriend and with most haunted houses a group of three gets lumped with another group but i was happy we got to experience it for ourselves. we waited for a little over an hour to get in but there was a lot to do so we kept busy with the dj &games. once we were like halfway through we caught up to a slower group though, so that took some of the scare away from us. its not the houses fault though.
nice talking skull in the beginning. i liked the elevator, i didnt know that that building had two floors. the room with all the werewolves and zombies was cool, there was a lot going on in there but it kept me from getting bored. there was a part where a train horn went off &that startled me too. i remembered the girl from the strobe light maze from last year, but she still creeped me out. over all pretty good. ill be back next year.

For a first year haunt, Monster Mayhem did a wonderful job! Located in the basement of Paulo’s Pizza, the location was great! It was easy to find with ample parking. Additionally, the restaurant above the house provided a warm waiting area and the perfect place to grab a pizza, play video games, or stop for a drink after the haunt.
One of the best features of Monster Mayhem was that the owners encouraged visitors to go through in smaller groups, and they did not rush the groups through the house. This was appreciated because it increased the fun and scariness factors!
The journey through Monster Mayhem takes you from room to room filled with various genetically mutated creatures. The special effects were excellent, both creepy and memorable! The elevator ride left some in our group a little dizzy and played on others’ claustrophobia. We were also impressed by the quality of actors in this haunt. Our favorite character was the man at the entrance of the house who delivered his lines with a perfect mix of eeriness and comedy.
This haunt was enjoyable, fun, and scary. Everyone in our group had a great time. It’s excellent to see a quality haunted house located in the Milwaukee area! We really hope that Monster Mayhem returns next Halloween for year two!

Absolutely awesome! Creepy circus music plays throughout and almost all the actors are in makeup, not those cheap, lazy masks unless their part calls for one.
The queue at the entrance is very entertaining, having newspaper cutouts on the wall explaining the history of what happened and what to expect, instead of most houses where you stand around rolling your eyes waiting for your turn to go in.
The vortex almost made me fall! My eyes were jelly!
The actors were totally committed to their parts and very professional, unlike most haunts where they get the neighborhood kids to come over and play around in cheap costumes for a few hours after decorating with front yard ornaments from Wal-Mart.
There were three different mazes in this house, each with a different theme and each very disorienting. A fence maze, a dark maze and a mirror room. The bloody tooth fairy clown made my teeth squiggle! Ouch!
The freak show was very creepy. I thought the fence was going to bust open and the freaks were going to spill out all over me. Ghastly!
The doctor in the torture room almost made my pants fly off in a stream of pressurized pee when he whipped out his huge syringe!
This was an awesome house and I suggest it to anyone looking for not only a scare, but a great time and a commitment from the actors to make you have fun. They can't touch you, but these people are so skilled they don't have to and can still get the job done.
Oh no! I kind of mixed the review and summary together! It's OK! I have a disease.

Alot has changed this year, the woods constantly changes their scenes. I love the walk through the woods, it is very creepy. The actors are on cue and jump out at different parts of the group, unlike other places where they only get the front or back of the group.
Easy to locate, worth the price and not far of a drive. I would recommend this haunt to anyone 14 and older.

This is the best haunt i have seen in years and i have been to several each year! The sets were phenomenal the wait (which was about a half an hour) seemed to fly by thanks to all the 'monsters'that play in the barn and the coffin ride! There are all different kind of scares and you can tell the actors love what they are doing.
We went through both sides (the clown haunt in blacklight is MORE than worth the five bucks) I almost peed my pants when the cahinsaw man chased us. KUDOS to the peekaboo clown the dot room guy and the zombie nurses!
I'm probably going to go back through this weekend!

I have been attending this haunt for about the last 3 or 4 years now and it is truly amazing how they seem to be steeping up their game and improving year over year. After attending a very poor cornfield maze the week before, myself and a group of friends decided to visit this Haunt to get the season moving again. We arrived at the place at around 6:50ish. There were already a good number of people before us there. We stood in line for tickets for maybe 5 minutes. We then went into their covered waiting area which was a huge tent. They had the visitors sorted into rows of about 30-40 people. A worker told us which row to stand in, so after about 20 minutes or so of waiting, it was time for our row to step up(*Note* while waiting in line there was various ghouls and evil clowns scaring the living daylights of some young attendees, which really set the mood). We where sent in with out group of 4 and as you enter the first house is very much set up like an old haunted mansion, with a ghoul up top dangling a baby doll from a string at you on at the entrance, just a great start. I don’t want to give too much away, but the inside of the first house had some of the most detailed and nicely hidden creatures I have every seen. The details that go into these rooms are above and beyond anything around. The actors where very into their jobs and did a great job of making you jump or scream.
After we exited the first house there was about a 5 min break so they could properly make sure that the groups didn’t catch other. The waiting area in-between houses were set up and themed greatly so it would break the mood.
We then entered the second house, and it sums this one up, it’s darker and uses strobe lights very nicely. They even had a green type of laser strobe light which gave a great effect on the creatures as they seem to pop up and then out of view. The scares are still top notch in this house and you won’t be disappointed. Especially at the way you have to exit the 2nd house.
We then had another 10 minute break before entereing the 3rd and 3-d haunted fun house. Before entering the house you are given a pair of 3-d glasses. Once inside it is amazing as the artwork and colors jump off the wall due the effects. The house lacked live actors but was just overall visually amazing!
Overall took a bout an 1 hour to make it thru all 3. For $25.00 how could you go wrong, worth every penny. Also keep the wristband on and you can go again Nov.1st for half price! I highly recommend this house!!

There is a heated waiting area with concessions & actors roaming but as always it is jam-packed. An hour wait for the amount of people there went fast. We try to go here every year and have attended at least 7+ years. This year the scenes were mostly the same as previous years. The actors in the haunt are good, but rather predictable. The rooms are decorated realistically with lots of stuff to look at in each room. However, when you enter a room you look at everything in the room and an actor or two across the room from you and then move to the next scene. They don't get in your face so the scare factor is lower. The actors do stay in character and try to find the most scared in the group and play on that fear.
This is the 6th Haunted House I have been too this season. If you like effects over scare it is worth it. Don't let the line miss-lead you, it moves pretty quick.

We arrived at this haunt on Saturday about 8:30. There is a heated waiting area with concessions, but it was jam-packed. We were told it was about an hour long wait, so we asked if we could leave and come back. The ticket seller said that even if we missed our numbers being called, they would still let us in, which was pretty cool. We left for a beer and came back about 9:30. Our numbers were called shortly, and we went inside the haunt to get in a short wait line. Here our group of 4 was paired up with a family of 4. The actors in the haunt were great, but it was more like watching movie clips than actually interacting with the actors. You would enter a room, they would do their skit, and you would leave for the next room. There were many cool special effects throughout the haunt, but I prefer a good scare to effects. There was too much light, you could pretty much anticipate everything that was coming. I felt like our group of 8 was too big, there were no scares for the middle or the back of the group. Actually, the children in front of us didn't seem to worried either. This is the 3rd haunt I have been to so far, and I wasn't scared in this one at all.
If you are looking for a good scare, I would go elsewhere. I would recommend this haunt for families with younger children.

HOLY SH*T!! This haunted house was incredible! My and my friends absolutely loved it. We showed up at 11pm bought our tickets and got in only 45 minutes later! There were these really hot guys helping us out trying to get us ready for the big scare, they were staff. The actors were great, it felt like everything was so real. My heart was bouncing out of my chest once I walked threw the doors. First there was a very creepy skeleton guy thingy to explain the rules (he reminded me of tales from the crypt) Lol! My favorite was the graveyard (i think thats what it's called), there were zombies scaring me from left to right. Plus there was this cute vampire that was like the head vampire, the only thing that wasn't so cute about him was how he was hissing at me... It was wierd, it creeped me out! The spinny thing that had neon colors splattered every where.. It tripped me out, I felt drunk. :) Another one of my favs was the glow in the dark skeletons, they were more cool than scarey but they sure did get a scream out of me when the popped off the wall. Wow! It was wierd, I didn't even see it coming. The whole house was great, it was deffinately worth my time and my money. Me and my friends promise we'll come back, and this time we'll bring more friends because now there all worked up to see how amazing hauntfest was. I LOVED IT!!!!

What a great haunt!! We got there about 9 on a Friday night, so we had a wait a really long time - a little over an hour I think. Also, while we were waiting to go in... the power went out, on the whole premises, so that made the wait even longer. However, I'm just glad I wasn't in the house when it happened! It's $12 per person, which I think is a little overpriced, but that's about standard this year.
There were definitely a lot of positives about this haunt... though there are some downfalls as well. I love that you walk through haunted woods to get into the house, it really sets the mood. Walking through the tank at the beginning didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, though. A number of the rooms use animatronic monsters which is never as good as real actors, but the actors that we did see were pretty good. This haunt has probably the most unique vortex I've ever seen and I really enjoyed that. Be ready to crawl! This isn't only a walk-through haunt, you have to crawl, kneel, squirm and fight your way through the house at times. But it makes it all more interesting. They have some different hallway techniques which was cool, but I didn't like all the sheets in the way... if you're claustrophobic, beware!
Overall, definitely one of the better haunts in the area to visit. Be prepared to wait a pretty long time especially later on the weekends.
